Self-extinguishing bins are containers from the Fireguard range with self-extinguishing technology. Thanks to a specially designed lid, the smoke which comes out of a smouldering fire in the bin turns back, cutting off the access of oxygen. This results in the fire being nipped in the bud. Fireguard fire baskets come in a variety of colours and capacities. They also have a number of features such as an anti-slip rubber base or a sack holder. The fire baskets in our offer have self-extinguishing technology. These are baskets from the FIREGUARD series. Thanks to the specially designed shape of the lid, they can be safely used in households. The lid of FIREGUARD baskets makes the smoke which leaves a smouldering fire in the basket turn back, thus cutting off the access of oxygen. This results in the fire being nipped in the bud. Without the cover designed for the FIREGUARD line, the smoke would escape from the basket by the side walls and a large amount of oxygen would flow in, causing the fire to spread very quickly. FIREGUARD baskets significantly reduce the possibility of waste in the basket catching fire, which contributes to increased safety. In addition, the FIREGUARD baskets - available in three different colours - look extremely good in both modern and classically furnished rooms.
Our different types of fire resistant waste baskets
Another type of fire resistant waste bins are pedal bins with increased flammability such as Freedom Fresh Hotel Safe. The Hotel Safe self-extinguishing waste bins have plastic liners with a V2 non-flammability category, which has been confirmed by the J.S. Hamilton Poland S.A. Testing Laboratory. Freedom Fresh Hotel Safe waste bins have a number of advantages of regular pedal bins, such as: opening and closing for a minimum of 10 000 cycles, vertical locking lid "click lock", internal insert, anti-slip pad on the pedal, and a special handle for easy carrying. Our range of bins also includes some fire baskets with a lid, dustbins and buckets. According to the Scientific and Research Centre, if these bins are used as intended, they do not contribute to the fire risk in facilities.
What distinguishes our fire baskets on the market?
ALDA's self-extinguishing waste baskets provide additional fire protection and convenience. A large selection of bins allows you to best match the bins to their destination. There are many reasons for an increased risk of fire, one of which is the ignition of waste in the waste bin. This is most often caused by throwing a cigarette butt or other glowing object into the waste bin. In order to minimise the risk of a fire started by unconsidered throwing of flammable materials into the waste bin, ALDA has decided to produce a series of fire resistant waste bins. Taking care of the safety of our customers in households, hotels, public institutions or workplaces, we offer a number of baskets that can significantly reduce the risk of fire. ALDA fire bins are characterised by one of three fire safety categories: self-extinguishing technology, enhanced flame retardancy or fire protection properties.
High fire protection properties of our fire protection baskets
Baskets with increased flammability properties, such as FREEDOM FRESH HOTEL SAFE, have plastic inserts of V2 flammability category, which is confirmed by the test report no. LT/132.201B issued by the research laboratory J.S. Hamilton Poland S.A. This makes it possible to suppress or significantly delay a possible fire starting in the bin. The FREEDOM FRESH HOTEL SAFE waste bins come in a variety of colours and are very suitable for areas where there is an increased risk of fire. Some of our bins also feature fire protection properties. The selected products from the categories bins with flap, bucket bins and dust pans, when used as intended, do not contribute to fire hazards in facilities. This has been confirmed by the Scientific and Research Centre for Fire Protection, which we commissioned to test our bins for their fire safety properties. The test showed that baskets in this category are resistant to the flame of a fire, do not contribute to the setting of fire to materials in the vicinity and are not significantly deformed when exposed to flames. The study also showed that from the moment the basket was set on fire, the flame was reduced to a minimum in a very short time.
